Quarter 2, 2026 ProLinkAIM Release Notes
ProLink Solutions is pleased to announce the Quarter 2, 2026 release. You've come to the right place to review what's new and tickets delivered.
UAT Build: May 14, 2025
Production Build: June 10, 2025
What's New
The release introduces the following new functionality.
Configurable Required Units Inspected Formula for Risk Review Inspections
The Required Units Inspected calculation on the Edit Inspection screen (Risk Reviews > Inspections > Findings – Units tab) was previously hard-coded. It always used a fixed formula: 20% of total residential units, kept between 5 and 15. Different organizations have different HUD inspection sampling requirements, so this formula is now configurable.
System administrators can now set three system-wide default parameters through ProLink Admin Config Settings:
MinInspectionUnits—Minimum units inspected, defaults to 5.
MaxInspectionUnits—Maximum units inspected, defaults to 15.
PercentInspectionUnits—Inspection percentage, defaults to 0.2.
Each property stores its own values for these parameters, initialized from the system defaults at property creation. You can edit the property-level values with the appropriate security role privilege.
Changing system defaults only affects newly created properties; existing property records are not altered.
Data Views that include Required Units Inspected or Required Files Inspected reflect the property’s configured parameters.
New Insurance Type: “Assault and Battery”
A new value, “Assault and Battery,” has been added to the Insurance Type system picklist. This option is now available when creating or editing Insurance Policy records in ProLinkAIM.
Fund CRA Support for Middle Tier Entity Investments
ProLinkAIM’s Fund CRA screen was not recognizing deals invested in through a middle-tier entity (MTE), preventing users from entering the CRA allocations required for regulatory reporting. Three related issues have been resolved:
MTE-indirect deals are now surfaced on the Fund CRA screen so allocations can be entered.
The Upper Tier Equity field, which displays the fund’s total equity in each deal and is used when entering allocations, now correctly reflects equity for MTE-indirect deals (previously showed $0).
The Investment Allocation 5.0 report now includes MTE-indirect allocations.
Update to Ownership Percentages on Fund Lower Tier Deals
ProLink updated the Ownership Percentages on the Lower Tier Deals screen when a deal is owned through one or more middle-tier funds. The change results in a better representation of the fund’s effective compounded ownership across the full chain.
For example, if Fund A owns 99% of Middle Tier B, and Middle Tier B owns 50% of Deal C, Fund A’s actual effective ownership of Deal C is 49.5%—not 50%.
For deals owned through one or more middle tiers, the ownership/percentage columns (Ownership %, FTC %, Income/Loss %, HTC %, STC – LIHTC %, STC – HTC %, STC – NMTC %, and Other %) now reflect the top-level fund's effective percentage, compounded independently per credit type across the full chain.
When a middle tier's FTC % ownership of the next entity differs from its base Ownership %, the FTC column is compounded using FTC %, not Ownership %.
For direct deals (owned directly by the fund, no middle tier) are unaffected. All percentage values match the values on the deal's Owner Entity record.
New SmartDox Mapping Nodes for Cash Distribution Fee Types
Two additional Cash Flow Distribution Fee Type values are now available from the SmartDox Financial Forecast schema (Cash Flow Distributions node): Special Tax Distribution and Exit Proceed. These values can be used to map data from ProLinkAIM Cash Flow Distribution records in SmartDox templates.
