Map Multiple Fields

Multiple data points for a Schema Group may be mapped at one time. For example, fields for address, city, state, and ZIP code could all be mapped simultaneously.

To map multiple fields at one time:

  1. Hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard and select multiple data points in the Available Fields section of the Map for ProLink SmartDox window.

  2. Select the direction that the fields should be mapped, relative to the location selected in the template. This option is labeled Multiples under the Available Fields section of the Map for ProLink SmartDox window. If Vertical is selected, each consecutive field will be mapped below the previous field. If Horizontal is selected, each consecutive field will be mapped to the right of the previous field. Mapping fields horizontally requires a blank first row to accommodate the captions.

    Caution

    Mapping multiple fields horizontally is possible, but not recommended. Horizontally mapped fields do not always appear in a user-friendly layout.

  3. Click Map in the Map for ProLink SmartDox window.
