  • UAT Build: May 15, 2025

  • Production Build: June 9, 2025

What's New

The release introduces the following new functionality.

Insurance Enhancements

ProLink made changes to the Insurance functionality in ProLinkAIM.

The List Insurance screen includes a new column called Named Insured, which reflects the selection of the field in the Coverage Information section of the Edit Insurance Policy screen.

ProLink also added two new values to the PL_InsuranceType picklist: Wildfire and Employment Practices Liability.

Fund Losses in the Fund Benefits Schedule

ProLink started enhancements to the Fund Benefits Schedule to show more granular Income/(Loss) tracking. As a result, you will be able to track lower-tier Income/(Loss) separately from upper tier Income/(Loss) as well as track both OPA and Actual loss values. The development of this feature is still in progress; additional functionality and detailed documentation about the changes will be delivered when the feature is completed (expected in the Q3 release).

As part of this feature, ProLink added a new Taxable Income/(Loss) grid to the Fund Benefits Schedule list screen. With the Q2 release, the grid includes the following columns: Rollup LT OPA Losses, Rollup LT Actual Losses, Total Combined OPA Losses, and Total Combined Actual Losses. When development is completed, the grid will include two additional columns for income/loss incurred at the fund level (Fund Only OPA Losses and Fund Only Actual Losses). Until the development is completed (expected in the Q3 release), the Fund Only OPA Losses and Fund Only Actual Losses columns will be hidden. When these columns become available, the Total Combined OPA Losses column will contain the sum of Rollup LT OPA Losses and the fund-incurred OPA income/loss. The Total Combined Actual Losses column will contain the sum of the Rollup LT Actual Losses and the fund-incurred Actual income/loss.

The Current Losses column, which existed in all Fund Benefits Tax Credit grids on the list screen, has been removed from the user interface because the new grid makes the column redundant. Eventually the column will be fully deprecated. At this time, the data in the column will be preserved at the database level and will continue to be populated using the existing system calculation. You can also still access it through SmartDox.

ProLink also added a configuration setting that can be used to hide the UT Actual Losses column from the Fund Benefits Tax Credit grids.

Update to the Required Replacement Reserve Deposit Calculation

Some organizations have a custom line item in their Financials records called "Required Replacement Reserve Deposits." When this line item is present, ProLinkAIM automatically populates the line item based on any available Replacement Reserve records for the deal. ProLink updated the way this line item is calculated for the first year of the deal that the entity is required to make deposits to the replacement reserve account. In the first year that a deal legal entity is required to make replacement reserve deposits, the system will now respect the month of the Initial Deposit Date when prorating the annual required deposit amount across that year's financial periods, instead of calculating the values equally across the quarters.
